Location

Symptoms
On this trip there was the health situation is described below: Bandafassi, In the group of ladies of child-bearing age were detected in a high percentage anemias, in pregnant women being almost 100%. The symptoms observed fatigue, woozy spells, weakness, muscle pains, according to the clinical examination were due to iron deficiency and malnutrition in several cases.
Children

The primary Problems identified were similar and anemia in children was even more striking as well as in women, particularly expectant ladies. Solutions
Based on work done by observing the socio-health of these populations and it has been decided to partner with a medical health team that will voyage to the area to enhance the Area health of the populace, especially expecting ladies and youngsters.

These populations are way more than 750 km from Dakar dirt road, unpaved. NGOs working in Senegal they do in other bits of the country, this area wasn't any NGOs working, either in the area of health or any other field. In Tambacounda there's a spiritual order monks working in education and health, this place is many miles from the area where we work.
